What motivates me?

When I first started this journey I thought it was just going to be a small hobby for some extra cash. I had no idea how much I would love making products. My MIL recently moved in with us and she can't believe how much time I spend in my kitchen making products. Between making products, cleaning and making food I am in my kitchen 80% of my waking hours! I have always said, as long as I love it I will continue to be the sole person of this business. Once I am no longer LOVING it, I will begin to get help with it. For now I love it all. Researching, making, labeling, shipping, marketing etc. I truly enjoy every aspect.

Enjoying what I do is motivating. And obviously getting paid is motivating. Although I'm still in the early stages of a business so there's not an exciting paycheck that keeps me going yet! The number one thing that motivates me to do what I do is my customers. When I wake up in the morning and open my email and I read an email from someone who tells me my products have brought them joy in some way, I cannot tell you how good that feels. I love the emails where people tell me they love the smell or feel of my products, but, when someone tells me my products have changed their life, I get fired up! I recently received an email from a customer who out of no where began suffering from acne rosacea. This is what she sent me

A week later she emailed me to say her face had completely cleared up. She had added the Foaming Face Wash and Night Serum to her routine and stopped using the cream from the dermatologist.

I love hearing from people who tell me that friends and family have noticed a difference in their skin since starting on my products. But when people are truly suffering from skin issues and my products help them not only get relief but help their confidence, I feel pure joy!

I really love doing events because I also get to see people's reactions to the scents and feel of my body butter and lotion. I also get to meet people and talk with them in person about their concerns. A few months ago I met a sweet woman who was so embarrassed by the psoriasis on her arms she wore long sleeves all the time. Even in extremely hot weather! A couple weeks after meeting her I received this email from her

These are the stories that keep me motivated to continue! I also love to hear what people don't love. I don't want to waste time on making products if they are not loved by people. So please, if you have ever used any of my products, I want to hear from you! The good and the bad! You can comment below or email my directly. Click on "contact us" on the menu. I appreciate anyone who takes their time to share with me!
