Health Tip: Increase Magnesium for overall health

Lack of sleep can cause physical and emotional imbalances.

Approximately 50% of the population is deficient in magnesium.

Magnesium is crucial for nervous system function, muscle function and energy production.

Some of the most common symptoms are high blood pressure, "wired" nervous system, insomnia, calcification of the arteries (which you won't feel), muscle cramps and spasms, anxiety and depression, hormone imbalances, low energy, poor bone health, and so much more. (if pregnant, magnesium is critical for fetal growth and deficiency can cause gestational diabetes, preterm labor, and pre-eclampsia.)

Magnesium is one nutrient that can easily be absorbed through the skin. It gets into the blood stream and almost immediately gets to work. You will feel your nervous system and muscles relax, your mind will be calmer and you will fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer.

Warning: start very low and slow with any magnesium. Getting too much too fast can cause a "surge" to the nervous system making it harder to relax.
