You asked for it, and here it is!
Over the past year several people have asked me about one of the newest skincare trends,
cleansing oils. I had a hard time wrapping my mind around the idea that oils could clean the face the same as soap or foaming cleansers.
My mind was BLOWN once I began looking into them. It took a while to get excited mostly because the first few brands I looked at cost $60+. Those who know me know cost is a big factor for me. Providing high quality, trustworthy and effective products at an affordable price is my mission. The more I looked into the ingredients that could be used I realized like many skincare products, the price only reflects the trendiness, not the effectiveness.
How does oil work to cleanse your face?
As I looked into this I was truly shocked at how many oils actually cleanse and exfoliate the skin. For those who don't know this, I have not had any schooling or formal training. I choose ingredients based on researching them for specific needs. When researching ingredients for the cleansing oil there were certain criteria I looked for.
exfoliation
astringent
deep pore cleansing, removing oils & dirt
makeup remover, including waterproof
not leave face feeling oily
Here are the oils chosen for our Cleansing Oil
Cleansing Oils are very easy to use! Simply add 2-3 pumps to palm of your hand and massage onto dry face. You can pump some onto a cotton pad to remove eye makeup if you prefer. Massage on just like you would any other cleanser. Rinse with warm water. I like to rinse using my Organic Bamboo Washcloth.
